HBO series features Iran actor Peyman Maadi

Intentionally acclaimed Iran actor Peyman Maadi has been featured in the third season of popular HOB series ‘Westworld’.

The new season for the science-fiction hit series was announced by HBO in May 2018 and premiered on March 15, 2020.

Iranian actor plays a character named Elliot along with Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton and Jeffrey Wright who have starring roles in this TV series.

Premiere episode for ‘Westworld’ “takes place in the real world - a technology driven future in the year 2058,” a review says, adding, “Thandie Newton’s Maeve wakes up in Nazi-occupied Italy.”

Born in 1972, Maadi started his acting career in Asghar Farhadi’s ‘About Elly’ (2009). Since then, he has been in a number of award-winning movies such as ‘A Separation’ which won him Best Actor in a leading role from the Berlin International Film Festival.

The actor has become a rather frequent name in US movie industry. ‘6 Underground’ starring Maadi is a 2019 action film released by American online streaming service Netflix.
